A new Strategic Plan guiding the future course for growth and development services for the Victoria Public Library is now being implemented.

The plan determines the new priorities and strategies for serving the Victoria community for the next five years.

"Community needs change over time," said Library Director Dayna Williams-Capone. "Libraries must respond to community needs."

Library eBooks are now available for Kindle devices.

Go to southtexas.lib.overdrive.com to get started.

We're excited to announce that our eBook collection is now compatible with the Amazon Kindle. eBooks can now be downloaded to a Kindle device or any mobile device running the free Kindle app. We are anticipating a high demand for eBooks and will continue to build the eBook collection, so keep checking back for more titles.

OverDrive provides a list of devices for use with downloadable audiobooks and eBooks.
