Check out these great resources!  After you have made a selection, go to our online Library Catalog to find out if we own your selection.  Contact the Adult Information Desk at (361) 485-3302 and we'll have it waiting for you at the check out desk. If it's checked out, we'll reserve it for you.  If we do not own your selection, contact us anyway and we'll borrow it for you at from another library through our Interlibrary Loan service.

On the first Wednesday of each month, pack your lunch and join our Brown Bag Book Group at noon for breezy but stimulating book discussion.

No formal invitations, no dues and no attendance taken.   So stretch your mind with a great book and a little talk among friends.  We'll save a seat for you...

Trying to tie new books to a particular month can lead to some interesting research. The month of May is a perfect example. The list of special holidays during this month runs the gamut from International Tuba Day on May 7th to My Bucket's Got a Hole in It Day on May 30th.
