Requests: ILL requests can be placed at the Information desk, by phone, through Ask a Question...or by email to vpl@victoriatx.org.
Only 3 requests for AV materials can be submitted and loaned at one time.
Waiting time varies from 2 to 5 weeks depending on the availability of materials.
There are certain items that can NOT be requested, Ex: rare or fragile materials, items that have been released in less than 6 months from the requested date and requests that violate copyright limitations.
Pick-up: ILL items will be available for pick up at the Circulation desk.
Loan Periods: The loan period is at the discretion of the lending library, but is generally 3 weeks.
Renewals: It is at the descretion of the lending library to grant a renewal request. You must renew items in person at the Information desk three days prior to the due date.
Fines/Fees: The patron is responsible for any overdue fines and lost/damaged ILL material.
