  • 09/30/2022 – Application process closes at noon
  • 10/05/2022 – Applicant testing by invitation only (written exam & physical agility)
  • 10/06/2022 to 10/07/2022 – Review Board Interviews
  • 10/10/2022 to 11/04/2022 – Background investigations occur
  • 11/07/2022 to 11/11/2022 –  Backgrounds reviewed by Police Administration
  • 11/14/2022 to 11/18/2022 –  Chief Interviews
  • 11/23/2022 –  Job offers made 
  • 12/07/2022 – Start date with VPD (pre-academy orientation)
  • 01/03/2023 – Victoria College Police Academy begins
  • 05/25/2023 – Victoria College Police Academy graduation
  • 05/26/2023 – Cadets return to VPD
