The City of Victoria Convention & Visitors Bureau will launch its annual “Yule Love Shopping Victoria!” mobile promotion Nov. 16 at www.explorevictoriatexas.com, offering a chance to win prizes while exploring local shopping opportunities in Victoria.

The passport, now in its fourth year, is a free promotion available to all visitors and residents. With 50 local businesses included, it showcases a variety of local options.

Liz Tise“The wonderful thing about this promotion is that anyone can participate and our businesses will see increased foot traffic and exposure to new customers,” said CVB Assistant Director Liz Tise. “We have several new businesses participating in this year’s promotion, so residents can look forward to discovering new places to shop.”

How it works

Participants who sign up for the “Yule Love Shopping Victoria!” mobile pass can check in at participating businesses to be entered into a drawing for one of five gift bags filled with gift cards from local retailers and restaurants. Each check-in counts as an entry, so residents can visit all participating retailers for the best chance to win.

Any resident with five check-ins will win a limited edition “Yule Love Shopping Victoria!” T-shirt.

The last day to check in is Dec. 20. The drawing for the gift bags will take place Dec. 22. City staff will contact winners.
