Discover Victoria Texas still has opportunities for more than 200 volunteers to play a variety of roles during the City’s first-ever Tejas Fest Oct. 4-5 in downtown Victoria.
“This is a chance for residents to be a part of making our first Tejas Fest a success,” said Discover Victoria Texas Assistant Director Liz Tise. “People feel good when they come together as a community to make something happen for themselves and each other.”
Volunteer opportunities are available Oct. 4 starting at 5 p.m. and Oct. 5 starting at 10 a.m. Residents can choose shifts in one or more of the following areas:
- Beer booth attendant
- Food vendor support
- Kid’s Corral
- VIP outdoor seating area
- VIP parking attendant
- Volunteer headquarters
Volunteers must be at least 16 years old.
All volunteers will receive a free T-shirt and snacks.
