Discover Victoria Texas is relaunching the “Tacos & Margs!” mobile pass for a limited time, giving residents and visitors a chance to win prizes while discovering Victoria’s local Mexican cuisine.

Participants can sign up for the free mobile pass at www.discovervictoriatexas.com. Participants who check in to participating restaurants will be entered into drawings for prizes including gift cards as well as taco- and margarita-themed goodies.

Drawings will be held every 2-3 weeks throughout this limited promotion, which ends in October.

“We are excited to bring back this promotion, which will invite residents and visitors to explore the fantastic Tex-Mex food and drinks Victoria has to offer,” said Discover Victoria Texas Assistant Director Liz Tise. “Our participating restaurants will also have a chance to expose their businesses to new customers.”

Discover Victoria Texas has been reaching out to local restaurant owners to encourage them to participate. Residents who would like to recommend a restaurant should reach out to Discover Victoria Texas at discovervictoriatexas@victoriatx.gov and include the owner’s contact information, if available.

The “Tacos & Margs!” pass is powered by Bandwango, the same platform used for the ongoing “Discover Victoria Birding I-Spy!” promotion. Residents still have one month to check in at the birding displays in Riverside Park for a change to win a birding-themed prize package in September.
