PHOTO: Crews perform excavation work in Brownson Park to prepare for the installation of a new sidewalk.
Brownson Park will close for the next two weeks, weather permitting, for the installation of a new sidewalk outside and around the park.
The project includes a sidewalk along Goodwin Avenue providing ADA-accessible entry to the park, as well as a paved walking trail around the whole park.
Funding for this project is provided through the federal Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program.
