This story has been updated to reflect a schedule change for the maintenance at the Victoria Public Library.
Crews will conduct maintenance on the Riverside Golf Course parking lot and the Victoria Public Library curbside pickup driveway starting Nov. 3.
The maintenance at the golf course will take place Nov. 3-5, while the maintenance at the library is scheduled for Nov. 7. Schedules are subject to change based on weather and other factors.
Both areas will receive a protective asphalt overlay, which will include raising low spots and filling any potholes.
About two weeks later, the Riverside Golf Course parking lot will be restriped, and the bumper blocks at individual parking spaces will be replaced.
What to expect
The Victoria Public Library’s drive-thru services will be suspended while maintenance is ongoing. Residents can pick up materials inside the library or by using one of the library’s pickup lockers, located at the library entrance and at the Victoria Mall.
Work at Riverside Golf Course will be completed in phases to ensure that the parking lot remains partially open.
Residents are advised to drive cautiously and obey all signs and barricades posted in the work areas, as well as instructions from crew members.
