Residents will have a chance to enjoy live music and festive activities while shopping for unique gifts during Merry on Main 10 a.m.-8 p.m. Dec. 13 in downtown Victoria.
Mother Cluckers Downtown will host an open-air market throughout the event, featuring more than 100 vendors.
Food trucks will be on-site from noon to 4 p.m., along with children’s activities:
Pictures with Santa- Letters to Santa with the Victoria Police Department
- Storytime with Mrs. Claus
- Ornament coloring with the Victoria Public Library
- Bounce houses
Starting at 4 p.m., Foamed Up will fill the air with foam “snowflakes” at De Leon Plaza.
The evening will feature live music at the De Leon Plaza performance pavilion. Rose Marie will perform 5-6:30 p.m., followed by the Christmas Tree Huggers 6:30-8 p.m.
The area around De Leon Plaza will close to traffic during the event. Motorists should exercise caution and should not attempt to drive into barricaded areas.
Handicapped-accessible parking will be available on West Forrest Street near De Leon Plaza.
