Municipal Court clerk David Baker recently earned his Level I clerk certification from the Texas Municipal Courts Association. To earn this certification, a student must complete 40 hours of education and pass an exam that covers topics such as charging/pretrial, state/city reports, trial processes/procedures, traffic law, court ethics, post-trial processes and professionalism/communication. Baker began working for the City of Victoria in May 2021.
