Local nonprofits that serve low- to moderate-income residents are invited to apply for grant funding through the Community Development Block Grant program administered by the City of Victoria Development Services.
Applications will open April 1 for the 2024-2025 Community Development Block Grant Public Service Agency and Public Facility grants.
Application forms will be available at the Development Services Planning office, 700 Main Center, Suite 129, and online at www.victoriatx.gov/cdbg.
Development Services will host a workshop 1 p.m. March 7 at 700 Main Center, conference room 205, to provide information and guidance to interested nonprofits. Attendance at the workshop is mandatory for any nonprofit seeking funds.
Completed applications may be turned in to the Planning office or emailed to zwendel@victoriatx.gov.
The deadline to apply is 4 p.m. April 30.
Funding recommendations will be presented to the City Council on June 4, and the City will solicit public input on the CDBG funding plan starting in July. The City Council will give final approval on the 2024-2025 CDBG grants in August.
